Coryn lowered the blaster. "Well, they aren't hurting anyone." He shrugged. "Good luck to 'em."

Returning to the main area he started moving towards the metallic sound. "Maybe some machinery was left on?"

The metallic sound seemed like it had been a growl from the small creature worrying the towel. Probably a curiosity of their anatomy.

"You sure you don't want to kill them?" Alister asked as he looked the creatures over for a moment. "Those are Massiff pups ya know?"

Inali meanwhile was trying to sneak closer to one, perhaps in an attempt to capture one. "You can't kill them! Rose us right, they're cute and we should bring them home! They look hungry."

"I don't know about bringing them home, but it doesn't look like anyone's in a rush to come back here." He shrugged. "I'm fine with clearing up whatever ore we can find and leaving the pest control to a future mining venture."

Inali would over one last look at the creatures before following the others. No way she was going to linger here without them.

Rose wasn’t about to adopt the pups, but it wasn’t their fault they were predators. “Keep an eye out for mum and dad,” she cautioned, “these guys are still pretty small.”

They didn't see any sign of the parents, at least not at the moment and soon enough they were entering the mine proper. If there was going to be any sort of ore left it would be here.

He did, and the older man soon found what he was looking for. Or at least where it was located. "Anyone bring anything to break a lock?" Alister gestured to the wire cage where the company apparently kept it's more expensive ore.

Rose decided to try the subtle route first; if that failed, force was usually an option. Despite Coryn's assistance, her lack of experience clearly showed as she was unable to finesse the lock.

The lock wouldn't give with the tools at hand, though perhaps another option was still available.

Sometimes brute force was the way, and the lock surrendered under Rose's toolkit.

The lock was released and the ore retrieved, through there was a bit more in the way of scrap yo be found here.

((Coryn and Rose can find another 200 credits worth of scrap for crafting for modification)
