A Mandolorian Pastime. Rp. (Day 3 EN to MN)

[Rose Sorenn]

“Aw, you got yourself a girlfriend?” Rose crooned, “that’s adorable.” The redhead was looking around, it seemed that everyone was on their last legs, up to their eyeballs in booze, maybe she shouldn’t have had quite so much herself.

“Whose dog died?” she complained, “Coryn, do you know anything with a little life in it?” Sure, someone always requested Free Porg, but the morose tune was better suited to the end of a party, not the start.

[Phoebe Wren]

"She must have terrible taste in men if she settled for Axel," Phoebe snarked at the big man, grinning for a moment before taking a deep drink of her bottle.

[Axel Ward]

Axel snorted, rolling his eyes. "Yeah, right. That'd be the day. I was just bein' a friend."

He waved a hand at his roommate. "Kusat's the one to watch. Had a hot date. Been meaning to ask him how that went."

[Xavien Laerrin]

"There is such a thing as friends with benefits, Ward." Xavien offered from his seat at a nearby couch. His tone a little teasing.

"That is interesting though." He murmured eyes shifting to Coryn. "It's hard to find a hot date on Tatooine after all, at least if you aren't referring to temperature."

[Inali]

"Did you kiss her?" Inali asked from her seat. "You seem the type to kiss a girl on a first date Mister Coryn."

[Phoebe Wren]

Phoebe rolled her eyes, and took another swig of alcohol to bite back another sassy comment, though this one would not be directed at Axel.

But that brought other things back to her mind.

"Xavien," she paused for a moment, "I wanna ask you something."

[Rose Sorenn]

Things had taken an interesting turn, "indeed, Coryn, time to kiss and tell." She gave her attention back to Axel and Phoebe for a moment, cooing, "oh, he's not that bad," and she petted the top of his head. She was going to claim the spot next to Xavien, but seeing Phoebe had something to say, she leaned a hip against Axel's chair and crossed her arms loosely.

[Xavien Laerrin]

Phoebe rolled her eyes, and took another swig of alcohol to bite back another sassy comment, though this one would not be directed at Axel.

But that brought other things back to her mind.

"Xavien," she paused for a moment, "I wanna ask you something."

"Alright." He took a slow sip of his whiskey and eyed the shorter woman for a moment.

"I might even answer if I find it interesting enough."

[Phoebe Wren]

Rising from her seat, the short woman finished the last remains of liquid in the bottle, setting it back down at the table before moving over to Xavien.

She gave him a hard look before speaking, her tone lower than before. "Did you know that cargo was slaves?"

[Kairi Laerrin]

Somebody had spoken to Kairi. Many people did, who could ever ignore her. She did remember now that Axel had asked her a question.

"No. No alcohol," she answered. She slapped her stomach a few times. "Can't have it for my diet. I did some, uh, other stuff though." She then snapped over to Phoebe. "You! Bunny! Is this going to mess up my gains? Please tell me that wouldn't happen."

[Xavien Laerrin]

Rising from her seat, the short woman finished the last remains of liquid in the bottle, setting it back down at the table before moving over to Xavien.

She gave him a hard look before speaking, her tone lower than before. "Did you know that cargo was slaves?"

"Did you know what everyone you ever stitched up back on Nar Shaddaa was into?" He asked in return.

"I wasn't told what the Cargo was and I didn't ask. It was supposed to be a easy job, no one was going to have to die and the pay was good. Seemed good enough for me, and well. Think of what would be if we didn't take it."

Turning to his sister his lips spread into a grin. "Drugs sister? Well, you shouldn't have to worry about the weight going straight to your ass. Still it makes for a poor game."

He glanced towards Orella. "At this rate I'll out drink both of you combined."

[Phoebe Wren]

She resisted the urge to punch him in the face right there, but the tension around her certainly felt like she was considering it. "Very well." For a split second it looked like she was going to grab him, so it was perhaps a relief that she was merely seizing the bottle next to him to claim it for herself.

"... You should be fine, Kairi," she responded with a touch of aggressiveness to her tone. Bunny was not a cheerful drunk, but thankfully she wasn't a violent one.

Glancing at Orella with a sad smile, Rose uncrossed her arms, she'd been looking forward to seeing the girl drunk, but this wasn't what she expected. She'd have to check on the young woman tomorrow... when her own hangover had abated a bit.

Ignoring Phoebe's obvious disapproval, she strode over to Xavien, "this seat taken?" she didn't wait for answer, draping herself into the spot next to the redheaded heir, crossing a shapely thigh over the other. "Now, if you outdrink poor Axel over there," she gestured towards the bleary man, "then we'll really be impressed."

[Kairi Laerrin]

Kairi's eyes eventually widened. Her usual, up-for-the-challenge self flared up. "You," she declared. It took her impaired mind a bit to formulate her words. "Orella doesn't count at all. She's a child, and you're even more of one."

[Axel Ward]

Axel watched the exchange between Phoebe and Xav with heightened interest, sitting up in his chair somewhat. When it was done, he settled back down with a grunt.

"Hah." He cast Rose a smirk. "Not much chance of that. If you find someone who can, I'll be impressed."

His interest perked up again, as Kairi started... something.

[Phoebe Wren]

For a brief second, Phoebe was sure that she was the target of Kairi's anger.

And it wasn't like she was disagreeing with Kairi that Xavien was a child at times, but her own feelings felt a little bruised by Kairi's words. Orella was more or less the same age as herself!

"Hey, not very fair to say Orella is a kid. She's... like, not," she interjected, most likely to get caught in the crossfire of the siblings. "Don't call her a kid just 'cause she's the youngest."

[Rose Sorenn]

"She's got a decent head on her shoulders, that's for sure," Rose's hand fluttered in Orella's direction, "when she's not passed out," the readhead added with a laugh.

[Xavien Laerrin]

Glancing at Orella with a sad smile, Rose uncrossed her arms, she'd been looking forward to seeing the girl drunk, but this wasn't what she expected. She'd have to check on the young woman tomorrow... when her own hangover had abated a bit.

"Not at all, Rose." He offered the woman a warm smile as she took a seat, his eyes lingering on her thighs for a moment. "Outdrink Axel?" Xavien looked the man over a moment. "Perhaps I could, but only if I was offered something worthwhile to make the atrempt."

Further speculation was cut short as words started to get exchanged, and he couldn't help but shake his head. "Dear sister pheebs has it right. Orella is an adult, as much as we were, at least when we left."

"Even if she isn't the most experienced...."

[Kairi Laerrin]

"She decided to stay at home. Maybe nap like she is now." Kairi tapped the spots she had been shot today. "My point... My point is I am the one who earns glory, not you."

[Xavien Laerrin]

"Which is why sister you should get yourself a drink." He raised his glass to his lips and downed it.

"There is at least a little glory in beating me in a drinking contest right?" He gave her a wink. "You can always make up the cals with a couple leg days."
