Character Creation

1. Create your character starting with the basic character creation as per Edge of the Empire, Age of Rebellion, or Force and Destiny.

2. Obligation will be the primary mechanic for character backgrounds. Every character will start at Obligation 10. All Force Users will begin at Morality 50. Duty will not be used.

3. Character will be built as normal with an additional 200 experience points to represent that they are experienced individuals. Since this is considered to be after Character Creation, you may not use this to boost attributes but you can use it to boost skills beyond 2. We encourage you to use this exp to make well rounded characters rather than someone one dimensional.

4. Players will receive 12500 additional credits after standard Character Creation, with a spending cap of 2500 on any one item. This is to cover the characters main armaments and gear, as well as backups. Full body armor and blaster rifles might be acceptable at a seedy bar in the Outer Rim, but in the Core Worlds it will be frowned upon.

Furthermore Item Rarity is capped at 8, with Restricted Items allowed with gm permission. Feel free to contact us if you have questions about equipment. We know there might be some items outside the spending cap you feel are a must for your character and we are more than happy to discuss these with you.

5. There will be no additional starting gear, the GM’s feel the above funds should be more than enough to cover everything you need

6. The Galaxy right now is in a period of rebuilding, many of the staples of the past like the Jedi and Sith are a rarity. Additionally some Specializations just don’t make sense anymore. With that in mind the following are banned during Character Creation:
- Anything in Jedi Career (e.g. Padawan)
- Anything in Clone Career (e.g. Clone Officer)
- Any Lightsaber Forms (e.g. Shien Expert)
- Retired Clone Trooper

7. Feel free to use any published species. Please list a source for any chosen outside of the Core Rulebooks.

8. Character submissions should be sent via PM on Discord to Nekoinu and Evencious.

Each player character will be allowed three Mechanics checks prior to game start. These can be for modifying attachments and/or creating new items.

Each of these rolls are considered to be unaided unless you are helping/being helped by another player. Note that this takes up one of your three rolls for both players.
