"It has been a long time since I have spoken the words, and a longer time since I have left the Ascendancy behind," she said, glanced down the range and shifted herself away from it.
"However," she returned to common, "it is not often I am granted the chance to reminisce as I have today, to speak in our language. We aren't a common sight in this part of the galaxy, and that only makes it rarer to meet another ourselves. Even if you've never lived back home, and belong more to this world than ours, but I think that is enough reminiscing for today."
Riza began, as she finished speaking, to move back toward the lockers. Allowing her movement to be slow enough that Inali could continue the conversation well enough from where she stood, or to follow Riza if she so chose.

Had they been reminiscing? She wasn't really sure, but she wasn't going to argue about it either. "You're right about that, I haven't met too many Chiss other then my parents." Were most of them like Riza?
"Maybe we can reminisce a bit more another time though, it's a chance for me to practice speaking in our language after all." She turned back to the targets. "Just maybe in some place other then the armory?"

Riza stopped halfway and looked back to Inali, "Where this crew is concerned about chatting it would appear the lounge is never going to get any use."
With that final quip offered, Riza returned her weapon to her locker, being sure to look it over and give it a brief bit of maintaining before locking it away. Then without much need for another word she saw herself out of the armory.

That certainly seemed true enough, and the statement received a small chuckle from Inali. She let the chatting stop though as she turned back towards her target.
She really could use more practice.
