It was different from the last big fight, as Phoebe now was walking and fit for fight, and none of their little crew were in critical condition. Poor condition sure, but not critical.

Still, it was time to give better care than she could give at the scene of the crime.

Axel, for instance was in poor condition. It was obvious in his pronounced limp, in his heavy tread, in the way his eyes wouldn't quite focus.

With a surly frown on his face, he leaned against the wall, arms crossed.

"Sit down, Axel," she nodded to an available sickbed as she changed gloves. "Let me get a look at you."

Still looking as surly as could be, Axel sat down.

"Is this going to take long? I've got places to be. Like bed." He growled.

"Shouldn't take too long, but I need to make sure you don't have any serious damage to your brain before you decide to take a nap. Might not wake up if it's real bad," she said sternly.

"Just follow the light here with your eyes without moving your head," she said as she held up a pen with a soft light at the end to check his eyes. After that was done, Phoebe went through a few other checks as well, but on the whole, it was a bit relaxing and destressing after that mess of a fight.

He had a mild concussion it seemed, but nothing life-threatening, "Right... I'll check over the worst of your injuries, and then it's bedrest for you."

After a moment, Axel snorted. "What, you mean my thick skull wasn't protecting me?" Somehow, something about her manner made him relax, and his expression went back to normal surliness levels.

He cooperated with the tests, performing them with enough familiarity that is was clear that it wasn't his first time taking them. Once they were done, he sat back with a sigh.

"Thanks, Phoebe." He said. "Guess that means I can be going off to bed, huh?" But he didn't seem to be making any moves that direction.

"When you feel like it," she nodded, but she wasn't forcing him to go. After all, if he preferred the sickbeds here, she wasn't going to stop him. "Take your time."

Phoebe herself was quiet, almost a little subdued from all that had happened and her workload at the moment.

Loathe to interrupt Axel and Phoebe, Rose considered turning around and going to bed, she could always have her injuries checked in the morning. Sighing, she decided it was easier not to have to come back, and she entered the medbay.

"How you feeling, Rose?" she scooted over to the redhead as she gestured for Rose to take a seat as well.

It wasn't clear whether Axel was gathering his thoughts or simply resting. Either way, he wasn't saying anything at the moment.

He raised a hand and gave a lazy wave as Rose entered.

Rose upnodded to Axel before turning to Phoebe, “thanks to your magic, I’m feeling pretty damn good, actually.”

"Hey. Room for one more?" Coryn was less severely wounded than the others, somewhat miraculously. He'd taken a beating but it was mostly just bruising from the Crushgauntlets, lacerations, and a really nasty line where the cord had wrapped around his throat.

"Heh, well, you had my back with some pretty ace shooting as well," she chuckled slightly as she gently rolled Rose's neck to check for any damage. "Good job today."

Coryn got a nod. "Take a seat, and I'll be right with you."

“Team work makes the dream work,” she quipped. She’d strained something in her shoulder when the thug’s blaster fire had knocked her off her feet, wincing a little at the referred pain as the Bunny manipulated her neck.

"Oof, ok, seems like you've strained something there. Gonna put some salve on it to ease the tension and reduce the pain, ok, and it should feel a bit better after some rest." Reaching for the salve in question, Phoebe was thinking mostly of how this was almost a bit more relaxed than it had been with the Rebels.

Maybe because it was a different thing to look after the wellbeing of your clan?

"Ok, here we go. Just lean your head over this way."

Axel snorted at Rose's quip, amused.

"Yeah, not bad." He grunted. "We went in expecting one thing, found another, and handled it. Not bad at all, if you ask me."

Rose gladly complied with the instructions, “you’ve got a softer touch than the hacks on Nar Shaddaa, that’s for sure.”

"Comes with the trade when you're treating all sorts of species... besides, this is much more relaxed than it was with the rebels. Besides, Nar Shaddaa doctors are often hacks - the real ones only work for the top percent." Applying the salve that was soothing for the area was an easy process.

"But yeah, good job guys. Would've hated to have fought those guys unprepared like we were when the ship was attacked," Phoebe snorted a laugh. That time the state of everyone had been much worse.

"Alright," another change of gloves. "Let's have a look at you, Coryn. Man who fought the Hangman."
