[D4 MA] Hair of the Massiff

[Rose Sorenn]

After brunch with the others, Rose decided to check on Orella, who seemed the worse for wear the night before. She had two large mugs - one was her own rose-patterned thermal mug - of strong caff. Her mug was pinned between her arm and her body so she could knock on the door.

[Orella Laerrin]

Orella, dressed in her poofy pajamas, opened the door. She was certainly much worse for wear, hair everywhere, eyes drooping. "Caff?" she asked, sniffing at the mugs. "Oh, I hope that helps."

[Rose Sorenn]

Rose handed over one of the mugs and hustled Orella back into her room. “You’ve looked better, I should have brought you some waffles.”

[Orella Laerrin]

Orella's eyes lit up. "Are there anymore?" she asked, "Oh, I wasn't thinking about food until now." She rested her head against the doorway. "I've just been lying around here."

[Rose Sorenn]

“I’m sure there are, those boys cooked up a storm.” Rose waved the younger woman inside, “get comfy, I’ll be back in a flash,” and the redhead jogged back to the kitchen to snag a plate for Orella.

[Orella Laerrin]

"They had the energy to do so?" Orella asked. She sipped on the caff and then watched Rose go. "You have the energy to do that?"

[Rose Sorenn]

Rose was back in no time. She’d heated the leftover waffles and delicious steam wafted up from them. “You get used to it,” the redhead promised, “I pushed my limits a liiiiitle too far, but we’re young, you and I, we bounce back.” When she was drunk Rose had been just a touch too loud, but thankfully now that she was sober, she was speaking quiet softly.

[Orella Laerrin]

"Makes me wonder what my mother was capable of when she was my age," Orella admitted. She took the waffles and began scarfing them down. "I missed some sort of after-party, then? Well, not like an after-party, but like... a meetup after a party."

[Rose Sorenn]

“I’m surprised we didn’t wake you,” Rose laughed, “Coryn had the sound turned up so loud I can still hear it. We watched a huttball game. It was fun.”

[Orella Laerrin]

"I see," Orella said, "I have to admit, I don't really drink too often. In fact, it's only when I have to make appearances."

[Rose Sorenn]

“Maybe take it a bit slower next time?” she dropped her head to one side, “unless there was something bothering you last night?”
