"Storage here. Parts and such. I don't see any movement, yet." He backed up to where the others were. "Look, if Kairi was here she'd be leading the sector sweeps, she's got the most experience of small group tactics. Could be there nothing in here, could be there's a nest of creatures, so let's just take it one room at a time. If there's a problem yell at me after the mission, okay? Now, let's check out the loading dock first then the storage room."
“Roger, roger,” Rose raised a hand to her temple in a casual salute. The redhead adjusted her thermal cloak, an amused expression under her helmet. She had no problem if Coryn wanted to play leader, that hadn’t been what her remark was about.
The loading dock seemed empty at first inspection, and held machinery for the loading and unloading of ore and other supplies. It was a likely place to scavenge for parts at the very least...
Rose very nearly dings her head on a hanging chain, but manages to avoid it. (One strain from threat) She does manage to come across some gnawed bones and other signs of life. Apparently something as been using this as a den. On the plus side, the machine she almost hit might have some good salvage.
The only thing Coryn notices is the hinge on the bottom of one of the pair of doors into the room is broken. Making it easy to pass through deeper into the complex.
Ducking away from the chain, Rose managed to look elegant, but she certainly knew the truth of the matter as she twisted her knee a little. That was quickly forgotten, however, as she assessed the long-dead machinery, realising that she should be able to scavenge some useful parts from it.
"Alright, looks like we can through here easily enough. Let's check out that storeroom before we press on. Might be something useful in there." He was keen to get deeper into the facility, but didn't want to leave uninspected rooms behind them.

The storeroom was an easy walk across the hall and looked as if no one had been inside it for a while. Racks held various types of equipment though it looked like most of the expensive things were taken.
A brief look inside showed little of real interest. A couple energy cells that still had a charge, a small case of detonite, and a set of surveyors gear.
Glancing around, "the detonite should probably be added to the Aurora's armory, and someone could probably use that surveyor's gear." The parts she had so far would get her close to building a gadget for the workshop that would make modding and repairing things easier, she was looking forward to the project.
"Good stuff. That could be really useful." Coryn nodded and led the way back to the loading bay. He moved over to the door with broken hinge. "Hopefully we'll find some of that ore back here."
Opening the door he raised his GALAAR-15 just in case something was waiting for them.
(OOC: Are those energy cells like reloads for blasters? If so I'll grab one)

The hallway continued downward the temperature dropping slightly as they likely entered the rock. They passed what looked like a galley or break room. To one side and what was obviously a series of restrooms on the other.
The place seemed empty though in the silence it was possible to make out the faint sound of shuffling, as well as something like a shrap whine of metal on metal.
((Perception at average with a setback to determine the direction of the sound.))
The sound echoed off the rock walls of the mine. It seemed like it could be coming from anywhere, so he readied his rifle for an impending attack. Of course it could just be mining equipment that had been left on...
“Rats,” the redhead answered confidently, it was the most likely explanation, but she still nodded to Coryn to take point and check it out, just in case.
Rats, rats would be good. Inali smiled a thanks at rose but still had her hand on her blaster as she followed Coryn around the corner.
They were greeted by a odd sight, a pair of odd four legged beasts with looked like plates growing on their backs. About the size of a loaf of bread one was tearing at a towel why the other sniffed around under the sinks. Apparently this was a neat of some sort, if one looked at the remains of the linen closet.
